Del 12 al 15 de febrero de 2018 se celebrará la edición inaugural de Advertising Week Latinoamérica, la cual marca el lanzamiento de la cuarta ciudad global de Advertising Week de la mano de su socio anfitrión, Grupo Expansión. #AWLATAM, se llevará a cabo en algunos de los lugares más emblemáticos de la Ciudad de México y reunirá a diversas personalidades de las industrias de la mercadotecnia, medios de comunicación, marca y tecnología de todo México, Centroamérica, Sudamérica y el Caribe para enfocarse en las tendencias clave que ayudan a dar forma a la industria global de hoy en día. Advertising Week LATAM se une a la red global de eventos de Advertising Week, junto a Nueva York, Tokio, Sydney y Londres.

Marc Fanelli serves as group vice president for global data for Acxiom Corporation. In this role he is responsible for leading the company’s efforts to expand its global data business and supporting expansion plans for Acxiom’s Audience Solutions suite – stabilizing and growing the core data and consumer recognition solutions, adapting Acxiom’s data products to the digital world and real-time application, and helping the company become an industry leader in the data-as-a-service sector.

Before joining Acxiom in October 2016, Marc served as the general manager for the Global Solutions Group at Merkle, leading all aspects in the creation and distribution for the company’s global data product business as well as migrating its CRM best practices to new foreign markets. He previously served as vice president for Merkle’s Data Solutions Group. Prior to joining Merkle, Marc served in several roles at Experian Marketing Services, most recent as senior vice president of Experian Decision Services.

As President of McCann Worldgroup Latin America and Caribbean, Fernando Fascioli leads a region with 27 offices in 21 countries. He has worked in the region for more than 23 years, having served as president of two of its agencies in leading countries.

Fernando joined McCann in Uruguay in 1994 and then moved to McCann Peru in 1998. During his time in Lima, he was at first Account Director, then Strategic Planning Director and later became Operations VP, finally assuming the role of General Manager (CEO) at the agency in 2004. In his role as CEO of McCann Worldgroup Peru, he led the implementation and development of local units Momentum, MRM//McCann and UM. Under his leadership, McCann Peru rose to the No. 1 position in the local ranking of creative agencies and McCann was recognized by the Association of Advertisers in 2010 as the best in its class with the "Excellence Award”.

From 2009 to 2011, in addition to his responsibilities in Peru, Fernando was appointed Business Development Director (Chief Growth Officer) for McCann Worldgroup Latin America and Caribbean Region. Later in July 2011, he moved to Chile as CEO/General Manager of McCann Worldgroup, when the agency received the “Game Changer-Best Agency Award" for the global network. In October 2014, Fernando is promoted to the role of Regional President for Latin America and the Caribbean at McCann Worldgroup position he currently holds. Under his leadership, McCann Worldgroup was named Network of the Year at the FIAP, El Sol and El Ojo de Iberoamérica Festivals in 2016, as well as being the second most awarded network at the 1st edition of Latam Effie Awards.

His experience includes working with brands for local, regional and multinational trademarks, including GM, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, SABMiller, Ripley, Reckitt Benckiser, Yell, Colgate, Hilton, Santander, Adidas, MasterCard, DirecTV, American Airlines, LATAM airlines, L’Oréal, Entel and Bci.

Throughout his career, Fernando has also has maintained a strong connection with the academic world as part-time professor and guest speaker at UCUDAL (Universidad Católica del Uruguay), Universidad del Pacífico (Peru) and PUCP (Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru). He has also acted as Vice President of the Advertising Agencies Association of Peru (2006-2010), as a member of the Conar Board (Council of Advertising Self-Regulation) in Peru (2009-2011) and as member of the Board of Advertising Agencies Association of Chile between 2011 and 2014. Claudia inició su carrera profesional en P&G México hace 25 años. Durante este tiempo ha ocupado diferentes posiciones dentro de la organización en las funciones de Manufactura, Mercadotecnia y Relaciones Externas (ahora Comunicaciones) en México, Suiza y Chile.

Como Gerente de Marca, Claudia desarrolló e implementó el lanzamiento de Ace en Chile, desarrollando una campaña totalmente nueva e innovadora para la categoría. En su posición de Directora Asociada en la Categoría de Cuidado Femenino fue responsable de haber alcanzado el liderazgo en participación de mercado alcanzando niveles record en ventas y volumen.

Posteriormente Claudia hizo un cambio de carrera al área de Relaciones Externas, siendo responsable de construir y proteger la reputación de P&G México y posteriormente de América Latina. Durante su gestión Claudia fue responsable de las Relaciones Gubernamentales, Relaciones Públicas y Mercadotecnia Institucional para todas las marcas así como de la Comunicación Corporativa, Responsabilidad Social y Asuntos Regulatorios.

Debido a una re-estructura Global de la función, actualmente Claudia se desempeña como Directora de Comunicaciones para América Latina (LA) siendo responsable de la Comunicación Corporativa (interna y externa), manejo de crisis, relación con medios, y la Responsabilidad Social de la compañía para toda la región de América Latina.

During the late 1990's and the early 2000's, he served as In Lot Producer, Head of Production and Chief Operating Officer in what were the most relevant companies known to the industry at the time: Altavista Films, Argos Comunicacion, and Cineconcepto.

In 2005 he imported The Lift, a company focused advertising production, to Mexico. By setting a high standard in services it provides, The Lift has become a leader in the International audiovisual production service, catering to the best directing talent in the world, positioning itself as a top player in the Mexican Industry.

Avelino has been juror for film festivals such as AICP Show, Circulo Creativo de México, Ciclope, Guadalajara Film Festival, Shorts Shorts Film Festival, amongst others.
