February 12 – 15 2018 will mark the inaugural edition of Advertising Week Latin America as Advertising Week’s fourth global city. #AWLATAM, held at some of Mexico City’s most iconic venues, will take unique media, marketing, brand, technology and broader industry communities throughout Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. During the week, they will focus in on key business trends, issues, and conversations that help to shape today’s global industry. Advertising Week LATAM joins a global network of Advertising Week events in New York, Tokyo, Sydney, and London.

Marc Fanelli serves as group vice president for global data for Acxiom Corporation. In this role he is responsible for leading the company’s efforts to expand its global data business and supporting expansion plans for Acxiom’s Audience Solutions suite – stabilizing and growing the core data and consumer recognition solutions, adapting Acxiom’s data products to the digital world and real-time application, and helping the company become an industry leader in the data-as-a-service sector.

As President of McCann Worldgroup Latin America and Caribbean, Fernando Fascioli leads a region with 27 offices in 21 countries. He has worked in the region for more than 23 years, having served as president of two of its agencies in leading countries.

Fernando joined McCann in Uruguay in 1994 and then moved to McCann Peru in 1998. During his time in Lima, he was at first Account Director, then Strategic Planning Director and later became Operations VP, finally assuming the role of General Manager (CEO) at the agency in 2004. In his role as CEO of McCann Worldgroup Peru, he led the implementation and development of local units Momentum, MRM//McCann and UM. Under his leadership, McCann Peru rose to the No. 1 position in the local ranking of creative agencies and McCann was recognized by the Association of Advertisers in 2010 as the best in its class with the "Excellence Award”.

From 2009 to 2011, in addition to his responsibilities in Peru, Fernando was appointed Business Development Director (Chief Growth Officer) for McCann Worldgroup Latin America and Caribbean Region. Later in July 2011, he moved to Chile as CEO/General Manager of McCann Worldgroup, when the agency received the “Game Changer-Best Agency Award" for the global network. In October 2014, Fernando is promoted to the role of Regional President for Latin America and the Caribbean at McCann Worldgroup position he currently holds. This way, Juan Carlos was the first agency leader in the world to put together all worlds’ Latin markets - Latin America, Spain and USA. During the 1990's he focused his career towards the production of feature films, His first Feature as a producer was in 1994 (when he was only 20). He has never stopped producing films ever since.

During the late 1990's and the early 2000's, he served as In Lot Producer, Head of Production and Chief Operating Officer in what were the most relevant companies known to the industry at the time: Altavista Films, Argos Comunicacion, and Cineconcepto.

In 2005 he imported The Lift, a company focused advertising production, to Mexico. By setting a high standard in services it provides, The Lift has become a leader in the International audiovisual production service, catering to the best directing talent in the world, positioning itself as a top player in the Mexican Industry.

Avelino has been juror for film festivals such as AICP Show, Circulo Creativo de México, Ciclope, Guadalajara Film Festival, Shorts Shorts Film Festival, amongst others.

He has also acted as speaker for several film festivals, panels, and universities. He served as the VP of Circulo Creativo de Mexico, as VP of international the affairs for the AMFI, and currently serves as President for the short film/advertising section of the Mexican Film Industry Chamber.
